How to apply
1. Talk to us
We can help you prepare a research proposal in advance. This allows you and potential supervisors to fine tune the topic of your research. If you don't contact us in advance, you’ll be missing out on a valuable dialogue with potential supervisors.
Once you have identified a Research Theme and a topic, please get in touch with the contact academic for that topic. You need to submit a research proposal with your application (see guidelines below).
2. Send a formal application to the Research School
Applications should comprise an application form, C.V. and a research proposal outlining how you would tackle this project. Guidelines on how to write your proposal can be found here. They should be submitted to the Research School by email or by post to:
The Open University
